Annual Minority Business Conference (AMBC)

The Chapter's Annual Conference has been designed to provide professional development and an opportunity for corporations to meet a cadre of qualified minority accounting and finance students and professionals.

The current format includes the following:

  • A Career Fair that is designed for corporate, student and professional participants to explore career paths and opportunities.
  • Technical sessions that are designed to provide Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits and broaden the knowledge and skill base of participants.
  • The Student Case Competition that gives students the opportunity to work as a team to solve a current business issue.
  • A networking event which allows students, professionals and corporate representatives to communicate freely in an open environment.
